Besides the general guidelines for the Park settlement, the Guamá STP also foresees some improvement interventions, along with the installation of community equipment which will bring direct and immediate benefits to the population  surrounding it. Some of these projects are:

a) Duplicating Perimetral da Ciência Avenue which provides access to the STP Guamá;

b) Transfering part of the population that lives in poor social and environmental conditions to the Conjunto Habitacional Liberdade, near the project site providing them with better living conditions;

c) Installating a Digital Library in order to promote digital inclusion activities.

These projects are part of a package of measures to be implemented in the Tucunduba Basin – region  where the Guamá STP is situated.
