HIGH VOLTAGE LABORATORY

Provision of support to human resources training, accomplishment of research and services rendered to the energy sector in Northern Brazil both to high and extra high voltage. This laboratory offers support of large blocks of hydropower, which require top notch technologies to reduce high costs with long distance transmission, impacting both the reduction of the rates hoffered to the consumers as well as the safety of Brazilian energy.

 AGRIFOOD, CENTER AND AMAZON BIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS (CVACBA);

The Agrifood, Center and Bioactive Compounds from the Amazon (CVACBA) offers a range of services that enable the scientific and technological quality control of vegetables in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, biotechnology and cosmetology areas among others, as well as the development of technological knowledge in the line of ingredients and nutritional bioactives.

 AMAZON ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND EXCELLENCE CENTER (CEAMAZON)

This research and development center is focused on the addressing of the issues related to energy efficiency, conjoining eight laboratories with the participation of researchers from several areas such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and architecture. 

CENTER FOR ADVANCED STUDIES IN BIODIVERSITY  (CEABIO)

 Develop activities aimed at generating knowledge and products of biotechnological interest and originated from local biodiversity that are available on the market.

BIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

 This laboratory is specialized in the accomplishment of genetic engineering services, recombinant proteins production and other basic supplies used in the biotechnology sector

AGROINDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS INSTRUMENTATION LABORATORY (AGROIND)

Agroindustrial Products Instrumentation Laboratory (AGROIND) provides a referential laboratory structure to back agronomy and agroindustrial research in Pará, such support is aimed at adding value to biodiversity and agriculture products as well as the pursuit of the promotion of regional generation technology for the different areas that are involved. 

  VEGETABLE OILS AND DERIVATIVES LABORATORY

We are specialists in the study of oilseeds in order to obtain products commonly used in the chemical and food industries with the certification granted by the National Petroleum Agency.

 MILK QUALITY LABORATORY IN NORTHERN BRAZIL (LQL-NORTE)

Established as a pioneer in the region, the Milk Quality Laboratory of the Northern Region (LQL/North) is connected to the Brazilian Milk Quality Network (RBQL) and the services provided attains all the states in the region. This laboratory is a part of the Amazon Eco-milk Program, which has several initiatives planned to support the entire dairy industry in the Amazon.

 REFERENTIAL LABORATORY IN PHITOSSANITARY MANAGEMENT

Qualified to perform diagnosis of plant viruses through Elisa serum and molecular PCR. For the diagnosis of bacterial diseases, the laboratory will perform the biochemical tests and the PCR. For the identification of the phytopathogenic fungi, the isolation is accomplished in the same BDA, followed by the observation of an optical microscope to assess the fungal structure.

The LASSE is a national reference in the development of technological solutions that involve the design and construction of new electronic equipment, typically involving customized hardware and software in the form of an onboard innovative system.
